The First Train Home I

["Mood Lighting":  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4DwXQ53l8H8]

1941, Siberia. Aboard the "Steel Beast", second-most heavily armored train in the world (Behind only the Fuhrer's personal transportation). 6 PM.

Edward Spionmann was concerned.

This entire daring expedition, masquerading as just another trip on the Trans-Siberian railway, was enough to set off anyone's nerves.

But now, there were passengers to deal with. Passengers who seemed like they were going to accompany the train all the way to Vladivostok.

Why were they here? Edward did not believe for one second they were just regular citizens. One of them spoke truly terrible Russian, for one thing.

The blonde-haired officer, disguised as a passenger going to visit family himself, narrowed his eyes at one of them from behind his newspaper, as she walked past towards the dining car.

They were so close! Only one more stop and then...

Who were these unwelcome strangers? Germans spies? Russian agents sent to ensure he delivered on his promises? Americans?

Who knew about their precocious cargo, moved in secret and shadows all the way from Belzec? Could this even have anything to do with the just unholy amount of spiders that infested this otherwise pristine moving fortress?

Edward was determined to find out.

What he has no way of knowing is that his train is also giving off a very unique energy signature, very interesting for certain parties. But what is your character doing here?

Who has the bad Russian accent?

Who's going to the dining car?

And Who's here for the spiders?

  1. I can't think of a way Carol could have gotten money for a ticket, but assuming she did...Sprite may have sensed something wrong with the train (a lot of people died making this railway). So Sprite has a bad vision about this train trip and spiders or something, so Carol buys a ticket (assuming she could) and heads east. Can't be any worse for her then 1940s Europe, right? (And if blacks are allowed, are dogs? Or is Sprite riding in Carol's pocket as something smaller?)
Once on the train, Carol would likely sit in a corner and just watch. She would know very little Russian and probably wouldn't use the Dining car, as I think you had to pay for each meal.

  3. One "Arthur Hебо", A tall man with black hair, Boarded the train partly because of the strange energy and partly just to ride the train. While he does speak perfect Russian(Maby to perfect) Not everything he says makes sense.
